FAQ — Current and Potential Clients

  • ISSI provides “Service Excellence Governed by Values:” Leadership, Integrity, Reliability, and Recognition. These values are what sets ISSI apart from the rest of the security companies in the industry.

  • Patrol service, ingress and egress at distribution and manufacturing facilities, parking lot patrol, Auto Dealerships, and a majority of basic security officer duties.

  • ISSI is prepared to staff any security service project, no matter how large or small, within your timeframe….as long as we have been provided with enough advanced notice. We will staff site management, shift supervisors, and all required security officers positions within 20 to 30 days, for most jobs having over 300 hours of weekly service.

  • It primarily depends on how many officers that are needed to be hired for the job. It normally takes one week to hire five to eight officers, so if your security officer needs are six officers, it should only take us a week. Under more unusual circumstances we can start jobs sooner by paying overtime, which can be negotiated up front.

  • ISSI uses a 10 step hiring process, which normally takes an applicant three to four days to process. Our first steps are to identify the applicant’s ability to communicate effectively and their comprehension of the state mandated Powers to Arrest Course. We use third party companies to conduct lab collections for all drug screening and to perform our criminal background check. Every officer’s training is verified directly by our staff with the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services. Once hired, all applicants are further screened, by checking their eligibility to work in the United States through the use of the E-verify system. Once hired all officers complete onsite training and must pass a site location exam in order to qualify to work at each client location.

  • Anytime a customer is not present at their facility or property, it is vulnerable to risks of being damaged or stolen. The primary purpose of having a security officer provides our customer with a deterrent to avoid these risks. A criminal looking to steal or juveniles out to destroy property, are going to avoid attempting a crime at any location provided with a uniform security officer, who is visible and vigilantly caring out their post instruction duties.

  • On a special case-by-case basis we may service a special event. Depending on the duties and responsibilities of our officers, we sometimes do not wish to accept certain risks. Please inquire and be prepared to provide all the details regarding the venue.

  • None of our security officers are armed. This would include carrying mace or a baton while servicing any of our customers. Should there be a viable threat, our officers are trained to remove themselves from any potential threats. They are trained to move to a safe location, try to keep a visual of the activity of suspect(s), and to call the appropriate law enforcement immediately.
